Coaches Named

Ralph Luchsinger, former Drake university athlete, has been signed as high school football coach and athletic director at Faribault.

Luchsinger played guard on the Drake football team for three years between 1934 and 1936. He will assume his new duties in September.

Basketball coach Harry Mortenson today said he is resigning from Lyle high school to attend summer session classes at the University of Minnesota. In the past two seasons, Mortenson's players won 33 games and lost only eight.

Bert Slade will be Eveleth high school's new football and basketball coach.

Slade, a well known Iron range athlete, presently coaches at Buhl. He will succeed George Lee, now at Dallas, Texas.
