Thomas Hickok died at Lyle, Feb. 13. Deceased came to this county about six years ago, with his father, who purchased what is known as the Peter Nelson farm in the town of Lyle, where he was killed, leaving the deceased the only living representative of his family.

His funeral was to have taken place at Varco on Friday, but a telegram from an aunt living in New York to hold the remains until he representative should arrive, was complied with and on Saturday the gentleman who will take charge of the remains arrived, and will have those of the father, who was buried at Varco, exhumed, and take them to Wisconsin for interment in the family burying ground.
