Theo. Running, who was taken sick some three weeks ago, passed away at Rochester Wednesday morning. After he was taken to the hospital he did not have any rest, the physicians report, and death came as an end to his suffering.

The deceased was born in Mitchell county, Iowa, August 2, 1879, where the family lived until 1887 when they moved on the farm three miles west of Lyle, where he lived until his death. He was of a quiet disposition and a hard worker. His death came while he was in the prime of life, and his friends mourn.

He leaves besides his mother, one sister. Mrs. Geo. Hartson, and two brothers, Ole and Bert all of this place. His father died on the 3rd of April 1907 and two sisters and one brother have passed on before.

The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereft family.
