OBITUARY MRS. ASMUN OLSON

Stena Hemsing was born Nov. 27, 1871 in Mitchell County, Iowa, and passed away March 20th, 1934 at the age of 62 years, 3 months and 23 days.

She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith by Rev. Eggen. On March 29, 1899 she was united in marriage to Asmun Olson of Lyle, where they have since resided. She was always an active member of the Lyle Lutheran church and Ladies Aid.

Those surviving to mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother are her husband and six sons: Walter of Austin, Minn.; Alvin. Noble, Lloyd, Sydney and Willis, all at the home; and four daughters Mrs. Frances Zerck and Olive, also at home and Mrs. Palma Remington, and Mrs. Anna Doyle of Rochester, Minn.; also five step children and three sisters and one brother, besides a host of friends who loved and respected her as a good neighbor and friend.

Our mother has left us
Oh, can it be true,
One has been taken
That was loved like you?
Her trials were many.
Heavy was her cross,
She bore them with patience,
His gain is our loss.
The time went so fast,
The years seemed so few
But we're thankful to Jesus
We had a mother like you.
To sleep we leave her,
To peace and at lest.
The parting was painful,
But God knows best.

Rev. Langehough had charge of the funeral services, which took place at the Lyle Lutheran church. Friday afternoon. Interment in
Pleasant Hill cemetery.

Those who attended the funeral from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. A.N. Hofland of Enderlin, N.D., Mrs. Oscar Huseman of Fargo, N.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Nels Johnson of Adams, Minn., William Carver and family of Sargeant, Minn.

The pall bearers were: Edward Bjork, Ole Mycklejord, John Larson, Osmund Johnson, Tom Thompson, Chas Zwerneman.
