Saturday Forenoon

Sophie Othelia Torgeson passed away at her home west of Lyle, at 10 o'clock, Saturday forenoon. She was stricken with apoplexy, Wednesday evening, from which she never regained consciousness. She was born July 6, 1884 and was baptized and confirmed in the Mona Lutheran church by Rev. J. M. Eggen, in which faith she always remained.

She leaves to mourn her death, her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Ole Torgeson, 3 sisters, Mrs. Carl Reis and Mrs. George Denison of Lyle, and Mrs. Millie Farrell of Minneapolis, and four brothers; Louis and Leonard of Minneapolis, Thorman of St. Paul and Iodore at home.

Sophie had never been in good health since infancy, therefore has always remained at home with the exception of short visits with sisters, brothers or friends. She will be greatly missed by a large circle of friends who with her parents and relatives mourn her sudden death.

Funeral services were held at the Lyle church on Monday at 2 P. M. Rev. Langebough officiating. Interment was made at the Pleasant Hill cemetery.
