Mrs. Sophie Burk Peterson died at her home in Lyle township last Saturday, April 30th, after a lingering illness of several months. The deceased was born at Bangor, Wis. in 1877, where she lived until in February, seven years ago. She was married to Mads H. Peterson on Sept. 12, 97 and has since made her home in this vicinity. She leaves a husband, one daughter, five sisters, and four brothers to mourn her loss. The funeral services were conducted at Minnereka Monday by Rev. Bear and interment was made in Woodbury cemetery.
