Slinde Infant Funeral Rites Held In Austin

The 17-day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Albin Slinde of Lyle died at Variety Heart Hospital in Minneapolis following heart surgery August 9. He had been admitted to the Memorial Hospital in Osage August 7, and was rushed by ambulance to Minneapolis for surgery.

Albin Slinde, Jr. was born at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital July 23. Funeral services were held at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin, August 11 with the Rev. Stanley Klemesrud officiating with interment in Six Mile Grove Lutheran cemetery.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albin Slinde Sr., of Lyle; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith, Austin; and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Slinde of Lyle; great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Price of Hampton; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith of Austin; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Huartson of Rockwell, Iowa and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Slinde of Austin.
