RICHARD BJORK SHOT

Relatives and friends of Richard Bjork were greatly shocked, Saturday afternoon when the message came from Austin, announcing that Richard had been injured. It was later learned that he had been shot. He lived only a short time.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon and was largely attended.

Albert Richard Bjork was born at Lyle, Minn., May 22, 1905. He was baptized by the Rev. Dedrickson and confirmed by Rev. Stroaasli.

He lived in Lyle with the exception of three years when the family moved to a farm east of town. He attended Lyle High School but left school in his senior year to engage in various occupations. He died in Austin, June 30th. Coroner Cromwell pronounced his death due to accidental shooting. He leaves to mourn his loss, his parents, one sister, Lucille, and three brothers, Edward, Herbert and Allan.

While life and memory shall last, we will cherish the memory of a son and brother, whose generosity and kindness was limited only by his means.

"A few short days or months or years, a few more toilings, prayers, and tears, a few more ministries to bring, for Him, who is our Master, King. A few more errands yet to run. Life's like a vision, like a dream, is one by one we reach the stream, and hear the solemn "One Clear Call" from shores where no more shadows all. Safe anchored there, our broken band, is joined again by angel hand."

Rev. Langehough had charge of the funeral services.
