1895-10-25 - Mr. A. Phillipson, of Brookings, S. D. is in the city this week, contemplating the purchase of the photograph gallery.
1895-11-01 - "A Business Change." The photographic studio formerly owned and operated by Harry M. Conray, of this place, in rooms over Thompson & Dock's store, has been sold to Mr. A. Phillipson, a young man who hails from Brookings, S. D. Mr Conray is yet undecided as to his course in the future, but after visiting a few weeks with relatives and friends in Charles City, he may possibly emigrate to either the state of Tennessee or matrimony, or perhaps both...

1899-11-17 - Clerk Phillipson of the Commercial hotel sold his camera and other photographic appurtenances last week to N. D. Fairbanks who will conduct the gallery here in the future.
