Mrs. Newt Dennis received the sad message of the death of her nephew, Omar (sic) Jahr, at Galna (sic), Ill. Omar was the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Jahr, and grandson of Mrs. Gena Jahr. He has been in poor health for a number of years and death came as his only relief from his suffering.

Omar was born at Lyle August 6, 1912, and had lived there until the spring of 1926, when he moved with his parents to Galena, which has been his home since. The family brought his remains back and the funeral was held at Lyle Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment took place in the Pleasant Hill cemetery. The sorrowing family has the sympathy of all.
