Olaf O. Bakke passed away at St. Olaf's hospital in Austin Tuesday afternoon, where he had been for the past two months. He had for years been troubled with consumption, and finally succumbed to the disease. He was the only son of Knute Bakke, and besides his father leaves a sister, Miss Sarah Bakke of Lyle. Olaf Bakke was born in Rock county, Wisconsin, in 1866, and lived there until the family moved to Mitchell County Iowa. For the past twelve years he made his home in Minneapolis, leaving there about the first of the year. The remains were brought down from Austin and laid to rest in the Pleasant Hill cemetery. The funeral services will be held in Mona church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. --Lyle Tribune
