Mrs. Ole Helle Rites Held In Austin

A Lyle area woman, Mrs. Ole Helle. age 67, succumbed quite suddenly in a Garrison, N. Dak., hospital following a stroke suffered the day before. She died Wednesday, July 20 and funeral services were held Saturday, July 23 at St John's Lutheran church in Austin with the Rev. Robert Hamp officiating. Interment was in Six-Mile Grove Lutheran cemetery.

Mrs. Helle and her husband were en route to Canada with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Nelson of Rosvolt, S. Dak., and had gone only about 40 miles when she was stricken.

Lena Turtedal, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Turtedal was born September 16, 1892. She married Ole Helle June 2, 1918.

Survivors are her husband, Ole, three suns, Melvin and Orville, both of Austin, and Hans of Lyle. Also four daughters, Mrs. Palmer (Anna) Benson, Mrs. John (Lillian) Brady, both of Austin; Mrs. Richard (Minnie) Scheffel of Lyle, and Mrs. Raymond (Ruth) Johnson of Byron, Minn. Also twenty-one grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Melvin Nelson of Rosvolt, S. Dak., and a foster sister, Mrs. Lizzie Helgeson of Coon Valley, Wis.

Her parents and one brother, Alfred preceded her in death.
