OBITUARY

The remains of the late Mrs. O. A Hofland wore brought to Lyle Monday for interment in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs O. A. Hofland was horn in Norway Sept 30th, 1855, and spent her childhood and youth in her native land, coming to America together with her parents in 1871. The family took up their abode in the village of Adams, Minn. In 1873 she was united in marriage to Ole Hofland, then a resident of Mitchell Co. The Hofland family lived in this vicinity until 1918, when they moved to Austin, Minn. In the spring of 1920 they moved to Star Prairie, Wis., where Mrs. Hofland passed away the 28th of July.

The deceased was the mother of 13 children of which 8 survive, and with the father mourn the loss of a dear mother and wife. 2 brothers, 2 sisters and 18 grandchildren also survive.
