Mrs. Gerald (sic) Bonnallie Funeral Held At Mona Lutheran Church

Funeral services for a former Mona resident, Mrs. George (Ethel) Bonnallie, 75, who died February 9 at St. Olaf hospital, Austin, were held February 12 at the Mona Lutheran church with the Rev. G. Grant officiating.

Ethel Bonnallie, daughter of Enoch and Martha (Kleppe) Thorson was born In West Union October 29, 1900 and later moved with her parents to Adams, Minn, where she spent most of her youth and was confirmed there in Norwegian in Little Cedar Lutheran church.

She was married to George Bonnallie March 14, 1923 and they farmed near Toeterville, Adams and Mona. While they lived tn Mona they celebrated their silver wedding anniversary in 1948.

Because of her husband's health they retired from farming and moved to Austin in 1958. Her husband preceded her in death in 1961.

Everyone who knew Ethel was grateful for her deep interest and concern for people.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Virginia) Robertson of Bethesda, Md.; Dorothy Bonnallie and Mrs. Charles (Ann) Johnson of Minneapolis; Mrs. Harvey (Shirley) Jackson of Alden, Minn; ten grandchildren; one brother, Edwin Thorson of Elk Point, S.D.; two sisters, Mrs. Arnold (Alice) Anderson of Adams, Minn, and Mrs. Maurice (Marian) Carroll, London, Minn.

She was preceded In death by her parents and husband, two brothers, Harry and William Thorson.

Burial was in Cedar City cemetery southwest of Austin with Rev. Grant in charge of committal services.
