Mrs. Clara Orcutt Funeral Held October 28

Mrs. Clara Orcutt, 88, of Lyle, died at St. Olaf Hospital in Austin October 25 following several years of illness. Funeral services were held on Friday, October 28 at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin with the Rev. Walter Blanchard officiating. Interment was in Enterprise cemetery southeast of Austin.

Clara Eastlee Orcutt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Even Eastlee, was born September 24, 1878 at Oslo, Minn.

She was married to William Mansfield Orcutt on March 20, 1904 at Pocatello, Idaho. They returned to Minn, in 1907. Her husband died in 1936 and a son, John in 1914.

She resided most of her life in the Lyle community and lived the last years of her life with her daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Helen) Murphy.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Helen) Murphy and Mrs. Edward (Mary Jane) Austin of Albert Lea; two sons, George and Evan Orcutt, both of Austin; also ten grandchildren and 11 great grand-children.

Pallbearers were Rufus Rawn, Lewis Rawn, Archie Larson, Levi Larson, Dean Hotson and Frank Duerest.

Relatives attending from a distance were Mrs. Effie Eastlee of Irwin, Penn. and Mr. and Mrs. Myron Eastlee of Gary, Ind.
