Mary Annette, second child and eldest daughter of Ole and Thea Myervold was born in Hallingdahl, Norway, January 2, 1881 and passed away Jan. 6, 1940, at the age of fifty nine years and four days.

When about 1 1/2 years old, she came to this country with her parents and older brother and settled in St. Paul, Minn. They lived in various points in Minn., and Iowa during her girlhood. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith.

June 27, 1905, she was united in marriage of Arne H. Larson by Rev. M. Eggen at his home. To this union were born six children, all of whom survive, also the husband. The children are: Mrs. Amos Carberry (Thelma) Lansing, Minn. Mrs. Edgar Shroeder Mable) of Austin; Archie of Austin; Mrs. Melvin Klitzke (Edna) London, Minn; Mrs. Ernest Jorgenson (Nona) of Lyle; Mrs. Lloyd Kirchgatter (Nanet) St. Ansgar, Iowa.

She also leaves to mourn her death eight grandchildren: Marilyn and Janice Larson; Kenneth and Rodger Klitzke, Ramona Jorgenson, Ronald, Rolls and Joanne Kirchgatter. She is also survived by two brothers: Gus and Edwin; five sisters, Matilda, Sophie, Esther, Nellie and Gladys. Five sisters and brothers died in infancy. One sister, Mae (Mrs. John Woodward) died Oct. 11, 1939. Her father died in Feb. 1931, her mother in March 1937. She also leaves an aunt, Mrs. Wilmer Campbell; many relatives, cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

We mourn the passing of a kind and loving wife and mother who devoted her time for the comfort of home and family.

The funeral services were held at the home at 1:30 P. M. and at the Lutheran church in Lyle at 2 P. M., on Tuesday Jan. 9 Rev. Langehough officiating.
