OBITUARY

Marvin N. Clark, 84 years of age, an old settler of Lyle Township passed away at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. Ed Schlick at Mason City, Friday morning. Death terminated an illness of two weeks following an attack of the grip.

The deceased was one of the early settlers of this township, where he resided until a few years ago, when he went to Mason City.

He is survived by two sons: Amos Clark of Austin and Marvin L. Clark, who resides on a farm near Rose Creek, besides one daughter, Mrs. D. C. Folsom of Powell, S. D., and a brother, D. A. Clark of Minneapolis.

The body was brought to Lyle Monday afternoon and the funeral was held in the Congregational church, the service being conducted by Rev. Jackson. Interment was made in Woodbury cemetery.
