Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Christian and Missionary Alliance church for Mrs. Mamie Ogden, 65, who died last Tuesday at Mitchell County Memorial hospital in Osage. Mrs. Ogden had been afflicted with a heart condition for many years, and this was the cause of her death.

The Rev. Melvin Hall, church pastor, was in charge of the services. Arrangements were by C. R. Champion and Sons, and burial was in the Pleasant Hill cemetery at Mona.

Mamie Nelson was born in Mitchell county, Jan. 7, 1900. She was united in marriage to John Fritz Ogden in August, 1919. During the past 18 years she had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Everest Buehrer. She became a member of the Alliance church in Lyle several years ago.

She is survived by her children: Leo Ogden and Mrs. Buehrer, Joyce, of Osage; Mrs. Harry Dockum, Ardene, of Carpenter; Nolan of Marion; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Thorwald Hansen of St. Ansgar Mrs. Esther Jorgenson of Lyle; Myrtle Nelson of Rochester; two brothers, Kenneth Nelson of Elkton, Minn.; and Russell Nelson.

Preceding her in death were her husband, who died in 1947; her parents and one brother Francis Nelson.
