Obituary

The sad news of the death of Miss Mable Anderson reached Lyle friends Monday morning, she having passed away at 3 A. M. The family recently moved to California, hoping that the change of climate might prove beneficial, but alas, the Sunny skies and blooming roses can not stay the hand of the angel of death.

Miss Mable had never been strong and robust, but not until last spring, just before her graduation form our high school, was she obliged to give up her studies. She was taken to Albert Lea where she underwent an operation, and after a few weeks was able to be about again.

Miss Mable had sweet quiet disposition and was loved by teachers and pupils, who will always kindly remember her sweet face and winsome ways.

The remains were brought here from LaJolla, California, Friday afternoon by her brother Alfred.
