LYLE

-Three saloons in Lyle.
-Three sacks of mail were received via Illinois Central Friday.
-It is three weeks Tuesday since the last train ran through on the Austin and Mason City R. R.
-Lyle has been supplied with mail from Austin, by special messenger, five or six times during the blockade.
-Illinois Central was the first road to clear the blockade. The first train since the 3d inst. reached us Friday, 18th.
-Andrew Myhre has purchased a half interest in J. F. Humel's stock of general merchandise. He gave for the stock a
farm in Iowa and a house and lot in town. The firm will be Humel & Myhre. Th. Irgens will probably keep the post office
there as of yore.
