1915-11-12 - "The Farmers Organize - Modern Creamery in Lyle" - ...One hundred and thirty-two shares had been subscribed by nearly that many farmers and with this number it was decided to organize and articles of incorporation were adopted, by-laws passed and steps taken to form an organization to be known as "Lyle Farmers Creamery Association"... In the election of officers, the following stockholders were chosen: A. H. Halvorsen, president. Jas. Palmer, vice-president. L. M. Eggen, secretary. Chas. Volstad, treasurer. Carl Reuter, Martin Nelson and Hollis Weber were chosen directors. These officers will continue until the 1st Tuesday in February 1917 when the next election takes place. The new industry will be located on Main street opposite the Dixon Hotel where they have been offered a site by Frank J. Pavelec...

1949-05-27 - David Matter who was employed at the Lyle Creamery, went to St. Ansgar Tuesday morning to try to get on the Telephone construction crew. Wendell Huff succeeded him at the Lyle Creamery.
1959-02-26 - St. Ansgar Enterprise - "Lyle Creamery to be Leased to Red Oak Grove"... Wm. Klusmeir and Carroll Howard both were re-elected for 3-year terms, as directors. Others elected were Frank Kerckhove, re-elected president, Carroll Howard the new vice-president succeeds Dean Hotson and Lavern Austinson also was re-elected as secretary-treasurer... A discussion followed which resulted in a motion to lease the Lyle Creamery to Red Oak Grove Creamery for a year beginning March 1, 1959.
