"Lyle Farm Bureau

Lyle Farm Bureau was organized in 1921 by Carl Reuter. The unit worked with the Nevada unit in buying farm needs. Walter Denison, Harry Nordan, Jay Monikan and Wilfred Murphy were active in early years and were honored at the state convention in 1940 for having the largest membership of any township in Minnesota with over 100 members. In 1954 the Lyle Unit joined with the Nevada Farm Bureau."
