OBITUARY.

At her home in this village, Wednesday morning March 17, 1903 at seven o'clock, Mrs. Lulu Johnson, aged 18 years and nine months, passed away after an illness of about ten days.

She was born in Green Co. Wis. and came West about six years ago. On July 4th, 1902 she was married to S. A. Johnson of this village and has lived here since.

Short services will be conducted by Rev. Bear Friday at the house after which the remains will be taken to Varco where Rev. Belding of Austin will preach the funeral sermon. Interment will be made in the Varco cemetery about eight miles north of here.

Deceased leaves a daughter about three weeks old, a husband and her parents Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Stockwell of this village besides five brothers and three sisters. They are Charley, Albert, Will, Frank, Gertie and Mrs. Daisy Lay of Lyle and Vernan and Mrs. Lay of Lyle and Vernan and Mrs. Lottie Compton of Mohall, N. D.
