Lloyd E. Everson was born January 14, 1907, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Everson living near Mona.

He received his education in the Mona school and also his religious instructions and was confirmed and baptized in the Mona Lutheran church.

On June 30, 1937, he married Esther Johnson and they established their home at Lyle where they had resided since. Four children were born to this union.

Mr. Everson had been employed at Hormel's at Austin for many years. He passed away suddenly on December 28 after suffering a stroke that same afternoon. Funeral services were held at Our Savior's Lutheran church at Lyle with Pastor S. Stenson officiating with interment at Pleasant Hill cemetery at Mona.

Survivors are his wife, three sons, Richard, Ronnie and Philip, and one daughter, Lola Kay, and one grandson, Mark Allan Everson; also one brother, Kenneth of Rochester, and two sisters, Mrs. Orlando Grove, Rochester, and Mrs. Harold Libersky of St. Ansgar. He was preceded in death by his parents.
