Obituary

Lilly Adella Holt Arneson was born in Lyle Township Oct. 19, 1900. Her mother died when she was 7 months old. She was then adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Arneson, in whose home she was surrounded by Christian influences and grew to womanhood under their loving care and guidance, a devout and true Christian.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her father, Mr. Ole Holt, and her adopted parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arneson, as well as one of her sister, Miss Amanda Holt, and the three brothers, Clarence, Tom and Alvin, all of Lyle. By her death the Mona congregation loses one of its most faithful workers and members. The deceased was interested in everything that was for the good of the congregation. She was an active worker in the Dorcas society and in the Young People's society.

She was taken ill on January first with an attack of measles. Complications set in. She was confined to her bed from January 12th until her death on May 24th. She was buried from the Mona church Wednesday afternoon. Interment at Pleasant Hill cemetery. Rev. Moe and Rev. Storaasli officiating.
