Mrs. Lena Running died Wednesday evening, Feb. 12, 1908, after an illness of about eleven weeks, at the home of her mother, north of town. She was nearly 26 years of age.

Lena Knutson born Feb. 18, 1882 in Lyle Village and was reared here. She was an active member of the Lutheran church of Mona, being always ready to do whatever good she could.

In 1901, she was married to Charles Running, who died in 1906. One child was born to them but it died when nine weeks old.

She leaves to mourn her death a mother, three brothers and two sisters: Knut. Olives, and Miss Anna at home, Mrs. Tom Thompson of this village and John of Cuba, besides a large number of friends. She was loved and respected by all who knew her.

The funeral was held Friday.
