Last Rites Conducted
For Edward Gould At
Mona Church Jan. 5th.

Funeral services for Edward Gould, 74, who died in an auto accident here December 31, were held at the Mona Lutheran church on Saturday afternoon, January 5 with the Rev. Stanley V. Gjervik officiating.

Mr. Gould, an electrician, was a lifelong resident of Mitchell county. He is survived by his wife of St. Ansgar and a son, Kermit Gould of Hermosa Beach, California; also five brothers and one sister.

The late Mr. Gould was born March 30, 1877 in Mona.

Burial was in the Pleasant Hill cemetery in Mona with Rev. Gjervik in charge of committal services.

Other relatives from out of town attending the funeral besides his son and brother, Dr. George Gould of Guthrie Center were: Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Holfand of Austin, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Palmer of Carpenter, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Tostenson of Hollandale, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Vernell Tostenson of Hollandale, Mr. and Mrs. Colin Frank of West Union and Dr. and Mrs. C. G. Gould of Eldora. Chris Springer and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Frederickson of Cedar Falls.
