MRS. SHEDD WILDER.

Mrs. Shedd Wilder died Thursday morning at 10:30 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O. C. Kinter on First street. She had been in failing health for years and sick for the past two years with Bright's disease.

Katherine Lura Fields was born in Madison, Wis., fifty-five years ago the sixth of February. At the age of the years she went with her parents to Jackson, Minnesota. Thirty-three years ago the family removed to Mower county and settled near Lyle. Her marriage to Shedd Wilder took place thirty-two years ago. To them were born six children, three of them are dead. The husband and three children survive; Mrs. Robert Geraghty, Mrs. O. C. Winter and Cree Wilder, all of Austin. She also leaves two sisters and three brothers; Mrs. Charles Sandon of Jackson, Mrs. L. W. Feeley of Bellingham, Wash.; J. Fields of Jackson, John of Washington and Harry of Arizona.

A year ago last October Mrs. Wilder went to Washington to be with her sister in the hope that the change of climate would benefit her [illegible:?] But the journey was futile. Mrs. Wilder was a nurse for a number of years and in her work was intimately known to many in our city. She was kind-hearted, a good neighbor and friend and a woman who throughout her life did all the good she could.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 10:30 from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kinter with interment in Woodbury. Austin Herald.
