She passed away at the home of her parents, Dec. 20, 1940 after a sudden attack of pneumonia.

Funeral services were held at the Norman Blakestad home last Sunday, Dec 22, at 3 P M, Rev. Langehough officiating.

Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery
Those from away who attended the funeral were:
Mr. and Mrs. Archie Heard and family of Pipeston; Mrs. H Grube, J L Carney, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pacey, Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Wright, Mrs. A W Penney and Mary, of Osage, Iowa. Bess Penney of Des Moines, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Jewell, Frank and Duane and Alma Oulman of Mason City.
