At the home of his step-daughter, Mrs. Joseph Boulton, in Cedar City, Saturday, Feb. 7, 1903 of old age, Justus H. Warner aged 85 years.

He was born in the town of Lenox, Genesee county, N.Y., Jan 8. 1818. He came west to Fond du Lac county, Wis. about 1846 and was married soon after to Miss Roxy Vaughn. She died about 1870 leaving one son Henry.

In 1873, Mr. Warner was married to Mrs. P.J. Marsh of Fond du Lac. In the fall of 1879, they moved to Blue Earth county, Minn. and after living on their farm for two years moved into Lake Crystal where they lived until the spring of 1891 when they went to Minneapolis to reside with Mrs. Warner's daughter, Mrs. H. McLean. Mrs. Warner died there January, 1895.

Since Dec. 31, 1899, Mr. Warner has lived with his step-daughter, Mrs. J. B. Boulton at Cedar City. He was converted early in life and united with the Wesleyan Methodist church and has lived a consistent Christian life since. He was of kindly disposition and will be sincerely mourned by all who knew him.

He leaves two sons, Henry of Seymour, Wisconsin and Rollie J. of Boston, Mass. and two step-daughters, Mrs. Linda McLean of Minneapolis and Mrs. Carrie Boulton of Cedar City.

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. C.D. Belden of Austin, were held at the Cedar City school house Monday afternoon. Interment in the Cedar City cemetery.
