1972-04-20 - St. Ansgar Enterprise - "Judys Purchase Niessen's" - The Niessen Grocery store in Lyle was sold last week to Mr. and Mrs. Norman Judy of Winona, Minn. and they took possession Friday. They have purchased a home in the northeast part of town from Mr. and Mrs. Austin Wittlief. The Lyle Niessens have operated the grocery store for about two years which was formerly the Schaufenbil Grocery.

1975-09-25 - St. Ansgar Enterprise - "Judy's Food Store New Location on South Main" Judy's Grocery in Lyle has been moved to the new location on South Main Street in Lyle to the former Perk's Saving Center building which the Judys have purchased. The John Perkins have moved to Decorah. Mr. and Mrs Judy came to Lyle from Winona, Minn. in April 1972 and operated a grocery store in the Ernest Schaufenbil building on Grove Street prior to moving to their new location...Their employee is Mrs. Andrew Martin of Lyle. They are residing in the living quarters of their store.
1977-01-27 - St. Ansgar Enterprise - "Duane Corsons Purchase Store from Norman Judys" - Mr. and Mrs. Duane Corson of rural Mona have purchased the Judy Grocery business in Lyle on south main street and took possession Thursday, January 20. Mr. Corson and wife (the former Eva Martin) will operate the store with the assistance of Mrs. Andy Martin. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Judy who came to Lyle from Winona five years ago, operated the grocery store until this transaction. The Judys have no definite plans as present.
