1923-09-21 - H. F. Johnson came down from Minneapolis Tuesday evening and commenced at once getting the Joy moving picture house in readiness for operation. Mr. Johnson is a real live wire and promises to give the public some real pictures in the near future.

Anna (Gordon) Gisleson of Charles City and her brother Henry were at one time managers of the Joy Theater.
