TUESDAY

John Lundeblade passed away Saturday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Wyborny where he had been since he was unable to care for himself. He had not been well for several months. He had reached the ripe age of 82 years, 11 months and 19 days.

The deceased was born in Heningsborg Sweden his parents being Borge and Frederika Lundeblad. In the year 1887 he immigrated to America and for many years resided in this vicinity. The family home was for some time where the Leonard Leidall family now reside.

After the death of his wife and the marriage of his daughter, Bettie, Mr. Lundeblade lived in different places; several years with Mr. K G Knutson west of Lyle, and later on the Gunderson farm across the road from the Lillegaard farm.

The deceased is survived by a son Emil of Rochester, and a daughter, Bettie Lundeblade Grondahl. 830 Kingbark. Longmont, Colorado.

Mr. Lundeblad was a good neighbor, and citizen., honest and upright in his dealing a gentleman. He was interested in the growing of ginseng and usually had a patch which he watched with interest.

Funeral services were held in O G Blakestad's Undertaking rooms, Tuesday afternoon, and interment was in Pleasant Hill cemetery at Mona, Iowa. In the absence of Rev. Langehough to whose parish he belonged Rev. Thompson of Grand Meadow officiated.

Garden flowers were brought by old friends and neighbors, and a memorial fund was contributed and will be used for missionary work, by the Six Mile Grove church.
