The remains of John Hanson were brought here last week Friday evening by relatives from Ladysmith, Wis. for burial. The deceased was a former resident of this locality, living for many years on the farm now occupied by C. A. Erickson, east of Lyle.

Mr. Hanson was born in Sweden 87 years ago and came to this country in the early days. For the past twelve years he has been living at Ladysmith, Wis., where he died on Christmas eve. He leaves, besides one daughter at Ladysmith, three sons: Hans, of Mason City, Iowa; Nels, of Lanesboro, and Tollef of Ladysmith.

The funeral was held Saturday, conducted by Rev. Storaasli, and interment was made in the Six Mile Grove cemetery.
