Funeral services for Mrs. Charley Peterson, were held on Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Mona Lutheran church with Rev. S. Stenson officiating. Interment was at the Pleasant Hill cemetery south of Mona.

Jennie Johnson Peterson, daughter of the late Bernt and Johnna Johnson was born on March, 7, 1876 at the Mona, and the only surviving member of the Johnson family passed away January, 9, 1958 at the age of 79 years, 9 months and 2 days.

She was baptized and confirmed at the Mona Lutheran church of which she has been a faithful member for many years. She was also a member of the Mona Ladies' Aid. She was united in marriage to Charley Peterson on Nov. 2, 1908. They established their home at Fargo, North Dakota and returned to Mona in 1947 where Mr. Peterson passed away in 1955. Four children were born to this union.

Mrs. Peterson had been in failing health for sometime, but it wasn't until the past two and one half months that she was bed ridden from a stroke. She passed away peacefully at the home of her son Russell in Minneapolis at 1:00 p. m.

Survivors are her son, Russell of Minneapolis, Mrs. Lent (Myra) Cramer of Reno, Nevada, Mrs. Verna Golling, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. John (Edith) Connell of Caldwell, Idaho; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild as well as nieces and nephews.
