James McCabe

1904-05-06 - James McCabe, one of the popular young men of our village left last week for Osage where he will be employed in the Schuyler barber shop. For the past two years he has been employed in the R. P. Gibson shop. He has made many friends here who are pleased to learn of his promotion and wish him abundant success in his new field. His place here is being filled by B. F. Hart.
1905-11-10 - James McCabe who is now working at the barber trade in London was in Lyle Tuesday on business.
1908-01-03 - Business Changes. ...Another change was at the Gibson barber shop, which was sold the James McCabe, who formerly worked in the shop for Gibson for about two years...R. P. turns the business over to his successor next Monday after a stay of sixteen years in the shop.

1910-04-01 - James McCabe is again in the barber business in our village. Last summer he sold his shop and went north to try his fortune...last Monday a deal was consumated whereby he became interested in the shop with Ben Perkins...
1910-04-29 - Ben Perkins is again sole owner of the Main Street barber shop. J. McCabe will go west to look for work.
