The funeral of the late James H. Stewart and his son, Marvin Stewart was held in the church at London Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment was made in Woodbury cemetery.

JAMES H. STEWART.

James H. Stewart, age 80 years, one of the early settlers of London township, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 1913, at the home of his daughter at Stacyville Iowa, as result of a stroke of paralysis. He was born in Jamestown, Chautauqua county, N. Y. Aug. 19, 1832. In 1853 he came to Wisconsin where he married in 1856, Miss Clarissa H. Hubbard, a native of Vermont, also of Jamestown. They moved to Illinois the same year and in 1857 they came to London, Freeborn county, settling on section 24. The family home has since been there. Mrs. Stewart died in May, 1888. Five children were born to them of who two daughters survive: Mrs. Mary Millington of Stacyville and Mrs. Eva Wardall of Grand Rapids. The son, Marvin W. died at his home in London on Monday of this week only two days after his father's death.

MARVIN W. STEWART

Marvin W. Stewart, age 51 years, died Monday night, Jan. 27. 1913, of pneumonia, at his home in London township. He was born in London township, Nov. 3, 1961, and grew up there. He was married at St. Ansgar Sept. 8, 1891, to Miss Jennette Warrington. Three children were born to them: Lela, Ray E. and Harriet A., all surviving. Mrs. Stewart was married Oct. 31, 1907, to Miss Elizabeth Cook of London, who survives him with one adopted son, Harvey, age 4 years.
