Mrs. N. O. Nelson Laid To Rest

Mrs. Isabelle Nelson was born, Sept. 28, 1869 at Waukon, Iowa, and passed away, Monday, Feb. 11, 1946 at the age of 76 years, 4 months and 13 days. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Asle Olson. She was united in marriage in 1894 to Nels O. Nelson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and as long as her health permitted, she was a faithful worker for her church and Ladies Aid.

About two months ago she was stricken with the flu, from which she never recovered. Sunday, she sunk into a coma, and passed away Monday a. m. at 10:15.

Mrs. Nelson is survived by one son, Olven Nelson of Lyle, two daughters, Clara (Mrs. Oris Golberg) of Lyle, and Otelia, (Mrs. Lafayette Olson) of Minneapolis. She also leaves 5 grandchildren, one sister and four brothers besides a large number of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2:00, Thursday at the Lyle Lutheran church. Interment was at Mona in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
