Ida Oline Gould Funeral Held First Lutheran

Funeral services for Ida Oline Gould, 94, who died at the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center here February 5, were held February 8 at the first Lutheran church with the Rev. Stephen Engelstad officiating.

Ida Oline Williams Gould was born on a farm in St. Ansgar Township, Mitchell County, October 21, 1882, the seventh daughter of Knute and Oline Hesgard Williams.

She was baptized and confirmed in First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar and was a lifelong member of the church. She received her education in the Clyde School north of St. Ansgar.

Ida and Edward Gould were united in marriage in 1903 at First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar and this union was blessed with twin boys, Kermit and Cromwell.

Ida was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, six sisters, and one son, Cromwell.

She is survived by one son, Kermit of Carpenter.

Burial was in Pleasant Hill cemetery, Mona, with Rev. Engelstad in charge of the committal services.
