HULDAH ERICKSON DIED SUNDAY.
Funeral Services Were Held wed.

Huldah Johnson Erickson, the youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernt Johnson was born at Mona, Iowa, July 3, 1882.

On Oct. 30, 1907, she was united in marriage to David E. Erickson, who preceded her in death March 6, 1917. To this union were born one son, Davis, and one daughter, Mena, who preceded her in death, July 3, 1934. During her entire life she has made this community her home.

After being in the hospital a period of five weeks, she passed away on Sunday Oct. 25th, at 4 P M, in the St. Olaf Hospital at Austin, Minn at the age of 60 years, three months and twenty two days. She is survived by her son, Davis, who is serving with the U S Army, stationed somewhere in the South Pacific, also two sisters; Mrs Jacob Myhre of Lyle, Minn., and Mrs Charles Peterson of Fargo, N. D.; two brothers, Benny Johnson, Osage Iowa; and John B. Johnson, Nome, N. D. Four sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at the Lyle Lutheran church, Wednesday Oct. 28, 2 P M, Rev. Langehough officiating. The service was largely attended by friends and relatives. Carpenter, Osage and Austin were represented by those from away. Mrs Erickson's sister from Fargo was here for the funeral, the details of which were planned by the patient during her long hours of intense suffering. Six nephews, served as pall bearers: Galen Carlson of Minneapolis, Lloyd Berg, Dale Duenow, Alvin Myhre, Conrad Myhre, Glenn Myhre of Austin.

Interment was at Pleasant Hill cemetery.
