Lyle Tribune: Guy Powers in undoubtedly the oldest settler in this community. Mr. Powers says it will be sixty years in November since he came to Mower County and if he lives until then, will celebrate the event. Certainly a good long time and many wonderful changes have taken place since November 1854.
