Dear Mother, laid to rest.
She is gone but not forgotten,
Mother dear, we loved so well,
To her friends and all relations,
She has said a fond farewell.

In her sufferings, she was patient,
Never murmured or complained.
Keen we feel this separation,
But our loss is now her gain.

She sought Christ for her salvation,
He became her dearest friend.
Now within the Heavenly mansion.
She has joys that never shall end.
