OBITUARY

Gunder O. Larson was born in Norway, Jan. 13, 1861. He emigrated to the United States in 1882, coming to the village of Mona. In 1887 he was united in marriage to Carrie Larson. To this union was born nine children, five of whom died in infancy. He is survived by his widow and four sons, Alfred and Herman of Charles City, Iowa; Oscar of St. Ansager, and Clarence of Austin; also one brother John of Mona; two sisters, Mrs. John Jahr of St. Paul and Mrs. John Hanson of Plymouth, Iowa.

Mr. Larson passed away at the home of his son in Charles City, Iowa. Tuesday morning, April 13, 1937 at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 29 days.

Funeral services were held on Friday April 16th at 2 P. M., at the Mona church, and interment was at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Rev. O. M. Langehough officiating.
