George P. Anderson

1911-08-25 - "Gallery Changes Owners" - H. D. Fairbanks of Austin, who has been making Lyle, rain or shine, winter and summer, every Saturday and on many other occasions for the past fifteen years made his last trip here Saturday. He has sold his photograph gallery to George P. Anderson who will operate it hereafter. It's a case of letting George do it now and he will keep open Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday of every week. Tuesdays and Wednesdays he goes to Grafton and Plymouth. Here's hoping that he'll be kept busy taking all the pretty girls' pictures.

1912-06-07 - George P. Anderson, our photographer, has leased the Vosburgh Studio at Austin and since the 1st of the month has been making the county seat his home. He looks after business here on Sundays.

1919-12-19 - When George P. Anderson entered the photo business in Lyle some years ago, no one had an idea that he would become one of the prominent county photographers in such a short time. He is now the sole owner of the galleries at Lyle, Adams, Blooming Prairie and one at Austin, where he has his headquarters, having recently purchased the interests of his partner, H. D. Fairbanks. His many friends here wish him continued success in his chosen profession.
