FUNERAL RITES FOR SLINDE INFANT

Funeral services for one-month-old Michael Allan Slinde, son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Slinde were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18 at the Adams Funeral home in Adams, Minn., with the Rev. Truman Mohn officiating. Interment was in Six-Mile Grove Lutheran cemetery.

Michael Allan was born May 19 at Memorial hospital in Osage and had a serious heart condition right after birth. At the age of two weeks he was taken to the University hospital in Minneapolis where he died Thursday, June 16, following heart surgery the day before.

Survivors are his parents, a sister, Joann and a brother, Virgil, II, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Huartson of Mason City and Mrs. Bertha Slinde and Arnold Slinde of Lyle.
