A former Lyle superintendent, P R Johnson, 88, died June 4 at Excelsior, Minn. following injuries from a fall.
He was superintendent of Lyle school from 1917 to 1920. Funeral services were held at Excelsior June 7.
He is survived by his wife, Maude, and four children.
