OBITUARY

Mrs I K Everson 88, said to be the second white child born in Nevada township, died at the home of her daughter Mrs W H McKee at Mona Monday afternoon after an illness extended over several months.

The deceased was a life-long member of the Lutheran church and one of the organizers of Ladies aid society. For many years she was an active member of both the aid and the church. It was only after her health failed that she relinquished her much beloved work.

For years she had been confined to a wheel chair and altho her hearing was defective she loved to visit with old friends. Until recently she was able to read and do fine needle work without the aid of glasses.

Mrs Everson is survived by her five children, Mrs McKee. Charles Everson, of Mona, Ervin Everson of Austin, Mrs Oliver Anderson of Minneapolis and Olaf Everson of Canada, also a brother, Chris Sampson of Lyle.

The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at the Mona church.
