OBITUARY

Miss Eva Johnson passed away at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. P. Johnson living just south of the fair grounds, Saturday. She was born in Lyle township January 18th 1903. She worked for a time in the Berg store and last fall she began teaching in the Minnereka district where she taught until three weeks ago when she was compelled to give up her work and go home.

Eva Luella Johnson was baptized in the Mona church and was confirmed in the Lyle church by Rev. A. E. Moe. During childhood days she attended the Lyle Center school. In 1923 she graduated from the Austin High school and in the year 1926 completed the Normal training course at Austin, Minn.

Miss Johnson was sincere christian a kind and truthful teacher, loved by everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed, not only by her family but by a host of friends at Lyle and Austin. Those who remain to mourn her untimely death and loss are her father and mother Mr. and Mrs. Peter Johnson four brothers, and four sisters: Mrs. O. J. Olson, Norquay, Canada, Ben Johnson Winona, Minn. Mrs. Geo Dufty Rose Creek, Minn., Palmer Johnson, Austin and Mrs. Hollis Weber of Lyle. Alfred Johnson Buchanan Canada. Lloyd and Irene of Austin.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Anderson at the home at 1 P. M. and at the Lyle church at 2:30 Monday afternoon by Rev. Langebough.
