CALLED HOME.

Miss Emily H. Owen passed away last Saturday, June 15, 1907, at the home of Geo. L. Hughson in Sarnia, Canada, where she had gone for a visit. She left, Lyle on Tuesday, expecting to spend several months with relatives in New York and also make a short visit in Canada. She was, apparently, in as good health as usual and seemed well until Thursday noon, when she suffered a severe stroke of appoplexy from which she never regained consciousness. A telegram was at once sent here to her nephew, John Hughson, but it did not reach him until Friday, when he left immediately for her bedside, only to find that she had passed away before he arrived.

The deceased was born at Durham, Green county, N. Y., August 14, 1843, where she lived until about ten years ago, when she came to Minnesota to make her home with her sister, Mrs. Mary Hughson. She was a life long member of the Methodist church, was a kind and loving friend and neighbor. The sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved relatives. The funeral was held, Wednesday afternoon at the Congregational church and interment was made in Woodbury cemetery.
