OBITUARY

Eberhart Johnson passed away Saturday morning, after a year's illness, caused by creeping paralysis, at his home, south of Mona, Iowa.

The deceased was born in Sole, Norway, October 24, 1847, and immigrated to America in 1868, settling in Mitchell county, Iowa. He is survived by two brothers: Martin and John Hanson, both of this vicinity, and five children: Charles and Elmer Johnson, Mrs. H. J. Hughes, Mrs. John Lenth, of Buffalo Springs, N. D., and Mrs. J. C. Burke, of Minneapolis.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, interment being made in Pleasant Hill cemetery. Rev. Storaasli conducted the service. Mrs. John Lenth, of Buffalo Springs, N. D., Mrs. Burke, of Minneapolis, and Lester Hughes, of LaCrosse, were here to attend the funeral.
